Lancaster Elite Director of Methodology

Diego Morata is Lancaster Elite’s – Director of Methodology (RCD Espanyol Academy Technical Director)

Diego will be over seeing the implementation of a Methodology of Possession Soccer throughout the Club. It is a method whose philosophy is designed in order for the player to learn, to look, perceive and decide. The Methodology is based in the philosophy of footwork and ball control. It is a model that is being used by the best European Academy’s and will be implemented and taught at Lancaster Elite.

SPORTS PROFILE

  • Football coach with 25 years of professional work, passionate about soccer, with a proactive profile and defined leadership, working with several types of professional training methodology.
  • As a coach, I have achieved great achievements at the national level and the promotion of players, who are currently in elite, European and American leagues. (Jordi Alba, Ilie Sanchez, Keita Balde and many others including Women’s Spanish World Cup Team Players)
  • In addition, I am a person with a great motivation, pleasant in the deal and with a great personal participation.
