About Lancaster Elite Collegiate Academy
We aspire to find the best 05 and 06 players in Lancaster County that want to play on a high quality club soccer team but also play “school ball.” Our expectation is that our players play High School soccer, may play a winter sport and will not play a spring school sport. The fall is for players playing for “something bigger than themselves” and contributing their skill set to their communities. We will cheer our players as they compete for League, District and State Championships. We also believe that playing a secondary sport is healthy for an athlete but realize this is only possible in the winter due to our team requirements. Our season will begin at the conclusion of the Scholastic season and will include a mini-tournament phase focused exclusively on tournaments where our players can get ID’d for College soccer.
In the late spring and early summer, we will play in a league and tournaments. All training sessions will be possession based, competitive sessions used at Franklin & Marshall College and done in concert with the methodology of Diego Morata of RCD Espanyol.
Through the process, Coach Wagner will prepare and advise our players on the College recruiting process. Our goal is to use F&M’s Tylus Turf field as our home training facility and begin practices when the College practice concludes. The state of the art facility was resurfaced in 2018. It includes 4 portable goals, an internal tactical camera system that records every game and practice and a HUDL system for players to access these videos. As of now practices will be at Lancaster Bible’s brand new turf facility or Foundation Field.
